Fan speeds 1 and 2 dont work

Fan speeds 1 and 2 dont work

Just picked up a 96 civic ex sedan. The fan speeds 3 and 4 work fine, but nothin from 1 and 2. Do they run on seperate fuses, bad switch, bad motor?

I don't have wiring diagram and cannot be sure.
I would check switch first and then resisters for position 1 and 2. Resisters should be located near the fan motor.
It is less likely to run on separate fuse.
