If you're that serious about speed, then I would definitely go with a 426 HEMI.

they made 500 bhp out of a stock block b16 w/ turbo. that will put u at about 420 whp or so. ithink that would be the cheapest way to get a fast motor. or u could just get a h22 jdm with lsd trans and slap a turbo on it with the right tuning u could get some hp out of that one. I saw a type r swaped hatch at the track a while back that was boosted and it ran around a 12.8 thought that was pretty cool. didnt know his exact setup though but he was qwik
kick it around, get the motor u want not what others say is the fastest. you can always make a motor faster. and there will always be someone that is faster. so just get ur kicks and dont let the speed get to your head.
