Default Flasher Relay Problem

My stock flasher relay is a mitsuba fr-3309. The problem I am having is when I turn my car on its constantly making a faster then normal ticking sound and when I turn my signal on it goes with the signal then when the signal light turns off it starts ticking again. My turn signals work fine.. only on when they are turned on with the switch, only annoying thing is I constantly here a ticking noise. So I am guessing that I need a new flasher relay. Just wondering if anyone knows if they make a higher wattage flasher relay that would fit in my 94 civic. Thanks

This part typically lasts the life of the car, so a stock replacement is fine. If the relay is OK it would still start clicking whenever some current is being drawn through it. They are designed to blink faster than normal when the current is less than normal, this is to detect a burned out bulb. Are you sure no bulbs at all are flashing when the lever is off-- not even the little ones at the front corners of the car (actually maybe the '94 doesn't even have those) or the ones on the dash?
