drove the wifeys car last week a 08 civic and sounded like break sqealers were starting to sound abit. she said it has progresivly gotten worse. put the front end on stands and took both wheels off and removed pads. grabbed the hub and started to spin a lttle bit and it started to sqeal badly around the what looks like a cv boot or under the boot on the drivers side. any ideas

 

Probably needs new brake pads. Have you checked how much pad is left?
