Gas Mileage and other Fuel Related Problems! Insight needed!
The accord is going to have more power, especially if you get the V6 as well as costing you more. The civic does look nice and its cheaper. If i was going to get either a civic or an accord, i would have to get an accord if i couldn't get an SI. I have both a civic and an accord. I like the power of the accord but i also like the handeling of the civic. I dunno how the new accords handle b/c i've never driven one. My accord (97) deosn't handle that well, lots of body roll.
Maybe a better arb you need?
Personally I like the 92-95 Civics the best. They look modern but not futuristic boxy concept car like. And they get lots of gas miles.
There is a problem with the modern Accords. Weight. Lots of it.
If you look at the weights chart, you can see that the Accord weighs a lot. More than the Civic.

92-95 coupes are by far the best civics.
i'd rather a mint one of those than a newer civic. all the new cars these days are too "futuristic/boxy/concept car" looking. ugh.
if i were you i'd get a 92-95 coupe, the most mint one u can find from an old man who drove once a week and stored it indoors, and drop an h22 in it. mod it to death and you got a wicket car for less money than a new civic.
but that's just me.
if your handling is seriously that bad even on slower turns, then you prolly got somethin wrong with your suspension. 4 doors don't handle as well but you shouldn't feel like yer gunna fly off the road goin around a corner with speed.
