hey man, i have a 1994 civic cx and it has the same (i think) 1.5L engine as yours, I am also getting about 120 miles per half tank, ( thats about 300km right?) sorry not sure because im in Canada so we use km. Anyways, I only got 430km on 3/4 tank last time i filled up, but i think the USA version of your civic has a 37L tank, not sure how many gallons that is about 11.3 or something, anyways I am having a similar problem with my fuel milage, I posted this same question, and replies varied from laying off accelerating too hard, and someone at my work said this milage is normal for such a small fuel tank. Anyways, hopefully u get some different answers from what i got, so u and i can get a better understanding. good luck man, btw my question is also posted in general tech help

Measuring by half tanks is so not accurate. Do this in a more accurate way, and then make your conclusions...

A better way to calculate mpg is to fill up your tank, zero your odometer, drive, fill up your tank again, and note the mileage. This method isn't terribly accurate either, but it's better than using the fuel gauge.
