got question about d15z1 block and d16z6 block

got question about d15z1 block and d16z6 [/align] [hr] so i have a **** *** d15z1 engine vtec-e in my si hatch?????yeah i dont knw what happend there either dude that sold it to me was hella stupid well anyways i was walking in the junkyard one day and i saw an ex with a d16z6 block so im like can i like swap my d15z1 block for the d16z6 and make everything run mesh with the d15z1 vtec-e head and the d16z6 block??????? i really need some info if this will work?????????????or if im gonna need the d16z6 ecu and wireharness i think the wireharness will work on both but what im thinking is ill need the d16z6 ecu????am i right or correct me if im wrong[/align]

why would you put the z1 head on the z6 block? the z6 is a vtec motor too..the vtec-e motor is the economy motor..less hp..if you put that head on the z6 motor you will probably lose about 10hp
