Default Hazards won't shut off.

Okay so here is my situation, I have a 94 civic Ex, the break light switch was messing up, and killed my battery, I have since fixed this, I went to go jump my car, and forgot I had an alarm because I lost the remote and couldn't turn it off, I cut the wires as close to the system as possible and removed it. I charged my battery and put it back in, my car will not start. It powers everything in my car but will not turn my motor. I think the battery has a bad cell, but as this was happening, I noticed a clicking sound, as thought my hazards were on, so I go out and look and in fact they are on. The button for the hazards is in an off position, and I can't figure out why this is happening. It couldn't have been because I cut my alarm wires? Would anyone tell me what the problem is and how to fix it? My hans manual says nothing on this problem.

Thanks in advance for the help.

First check the battery with a voltmeter. If voltage is less than 12.5 volts after charging thoroughly, replace battery.

The alarm system is the prime suspect.
