I had the #1 head bolt snap at the threads into the long block.

I was wondering if anyone had any information regarding the sizes of the tap and die, drill size or type, or any other processes I should be aware of so that I don't mess up or make things worse.

Any information whatsoever on this problem I am having is incredibly appreciated.

 

Ahh tough luck, look in to timeserts. I work for an Acura dealership and that is what Honda recommends to repair the threads, even on head bolts.
