Help Filters...for a Beginner
Hi...
I have a Honda civic sport 1999 UK model 1.4 engine.
Was wondering what would be the best products to use for the following:
Engine Oil (Was recommended Castrol Magnatec 10w-40 or Mobil 5w-30)
Oil filter
Brake fluid
Fuel Filter
Engine Coolant
Spark Plugs (NGK Iridium has been recommended to me)
My car is due a service so need to get the right parts preferable performance parts to help it last longer.
Any help or advice would be great.
Thanks.

as far as your air filter goes, k&n is always a good bet. its expensive but its a lifetime purchase, they come with a million mile warranty and are reusable. ngk iridium plugs are not the best but they are a good deal and are quality plugs. i have ngk iridiums in my civic. you can find a complete set on ebay cheap. as far as oil goes i would go with manufacturer specs found in your owners manual but if someone knows better listen to them on that. and as far as oil filter, brake fluid, coolant, and fuel filter go..... i dont know that it matters but again find someone that knows better on that. for sure the ngk and k&n are a good buy. if you dont mind dishing out the extra few bucks i recomend getting rid of that factory air box, very easy in most cases and hook up a short ram intake.
