Default help me guys very urgent..

good day..i just bought a second hand 2004 honda civic 2.0 ivtec asian version and im having this weird noise like cracking noise when im hitting the brakes. sometimes it vibrates. is it normal?? i asked somebody about this problem and says its the abs is the one making the noise and vibration..he also said that its normal since those model abs is more noisy compare to the new ones..thanks for your help..have a nice day and godbless.

Are you slamming on the brakes to cause the abs to kick in each time? Any light coming on the dash board? Is the pedal that you press with your foot vibrating or the entire car?

nope i just hit the brakes when needed. nope there is no light coming out when i hit the brakes. usually its the pedal vibrating but sometimes the can feel the vibrations.thanks for your help.

vibrations you feel in the pedal most likely mean that the brakes need to be replaced. pads and rotors.
