Default Help please!

Hi,
i just got an 2006 Honda civic it is going into limp mode. Going down the road it will downshift and then it will not shift back up or speed up. Check the coils, plugs, injectors, and change the presure switch sensor on the trans, and did a hard reset on all the relays. What could it be causing it to shift like that and go into limp mode? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if it is going into limp mode it should have a readable code. you may need a slightly more advanced code scanner to pull all the trans codes i cant remember. blinking d on the shifter display on thr dash is a trans code. if those transmissions aren't serviced regularly it can really throw them for a loop. dirty fluid will cause problems with the pressure switch and the shift solenoids. if its been left go too long it will start chewing up the internals of the transmission. do a drain and fill on the transmission 3 times for best results. on the first drain and fill pay close attention to the fluid coming out of the transmission maybe even using a strainer. if you see chunks of anything start looking for a new car or having the transmission replaced or rebuilt.
