Help with shaking front end
I have a shaking front end on my 94 civic coupe. I originally thought it was my tires because I had popped one a 4 or 5 months ago and stuck on a new one. So I had the difference between tread checked out and it is very very miniscule, so then I moved onto my next possibility, the allignment. The alignment checked out and things grew a little bit better, but everytime I hit past 65, my front end shakes.
I was wondering if anyone had an idea what would be up? My tires are all performance and the same size.
Would a front strut bar help? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Things to check:
Wheel alignment - DONE
Wheel Balance - do this during tire rotation
Brake Rotors - you would notice by pulsing brake pedal while braking
CV Axles - Bad vibration above 75 MPH, clicking or knocking while turning, sudden death
Transmission "Torque Stoppers" - easy, look through the hole in the frontward part of the wheel arch, if the rubber is cracked or broken, that is your problem.
If your problem is old rubber cracking/breaking, there are a LOT of important things on the Civic that are rubber and they will ALL have to be replaced eventually!

Thank you for the advice, I'll be sure to check it all out.
&Oh man, this old car has been needing a lot of care, if its not the rubber then its the transmission or the brakes or the radiator. loorrdd

transmission - rubber torque stoppers and engine mount bushings, rubber CV axle boots
brakes - rubber seals, rubber hoses
radiator - rubber hoses!
suspension - rubber bushings
electrical - rubber insulation
engine - rubber vaccum lines, rubber spark plug o-rings, rubber distributor gasket
fuel - rubber hoses
Those are the things to look out for. In my car I have a big problem with deteriorated rubber causing problems. I have eliminated a lot on the list, but a lot remains.
