Default HELP tranny, cv shaft, clutch

ok so here is the issue,
we were moving the car around the front of the house from the shop out back, going about 5 mph, there was a pop, grind noise, kinda small click pop sound. now the car wont move at all... you can put it in any gear, clutch has play, and when you put it into gear and let off the clutch... the speed sensor in the tranny is showing on the spedo, and the engine makes a vibration rattle noise from under the hood, we swapped out the CV shaft on the pass side, thinking because the drive tire, it may fix that issue... it didnt... so at this point im about to swap the tranny, but i dont really want to if i dont have to. my question is i guess, could the drivers side shaft be broken? and if so, will the car not move? i figured the drive tire would at least spin... on the other hand we also put the car off the ground, both fronts in the air: when car is off.. in gear, both tires spin freely by hand, but when the car is running in gear off the ground, tires dont move at all... so if anyone can help me please, im about to tear my hair out of my head, and i really dont want to change the tranny if its somthing simple...

Car is 99 civic ex 1.6 soc non vtec
the b16
please help!!!

One broken axle or one axle popped out of the differential will prevent the car from moving.
