I think those numbers aren't too far off at the crank. 127 + maybe 15 if you get top of the line bolt ons...thats like 142...almost 150? anyway true its much less at the wheels. I stand by the fact that you can have fun with bolt ons and suspension, but need forced induction or swap to be fast.

 

it's implied, power at the flywheel doesn't mean anything to most people, and unless you want to pull your motor and throw it on an engine dyno, how do you even plan to measure that?!

it's nothing personal, I'd say that to ANYONE who predics a 25% power increase with nothing more than cheap bolt-ons

 

I'd take it a little bit personal as well. Being accused of using ricer math was funny but a little harsh. Im not going to sugar coat it. Stock civics are slow. You need Forced induction to run with the big boys.

I didn't call you a ricer, I just don't understand why people (people in general, not just YOU) talk in terms of "power at the crank" when there's always going to be drivetrain loss... and why do people focus on the peak HP number so much when it occurs at a RPM that you rarely hit on a day-to-day basis?

 

realtalk when i had a sohcvtec i was able to smoke a v6 musstanck keep in mind it had all the boltonsbut u cant expect too much but if u got a swap do it! much luck honda 4 ever!!!!!!!!
