I think those numbers aren't too far off at the crank. 127 + maybe 15 if you get top of the line bolt ons...thats like 142...almost 150? anyway true its much less at the wheels. I stand by the fact that you can have fun with bolt ons and suspension, but need forced induction or swap to be fast.

when did I ever say AT THE WHEELS??????? and I was being loose with the figures......
it's implied, power at the flywheel doesn't mean anything to most people, and unless you want to pull your motor and throw it on an engine dyno, how do you even plan to measure that?!

it's nothing personal, I'd say that to ANYONE who predics a 25% power increase with nothing more than cheap bolt-ons

I'd take it a little bit personal as well. Being accused of using ricer math was funny but a little harsh. Im not going to sugar coat it. Stock civics are slow. You need Forced induction to run with the big boys.

Oh it's implied huh, I usually put in terms of just hpinstead of whpin general, it's easier unless u have a dyno...but anyway who cares, comeone Yeah I'm sure that kid was looking for all that to the flywheel, and crank, technical stuff probably soaked it right in right. IJust gave him a general idea. Thats what was implied.thats what he was looking for..,,,,,whoops 10 hp off oh no make a big deal out of it.

And who are you to judge what most people are looking for?

Alright I'm done with this. Hey I think any help or opinionsyou can give to someone is good. I see some people looking for help that have posted 12 hours agow/out any responses. If you don't know anything on the subject you should atleast be able to voice an opinion.

Stock civics couldnt even keep up with a cavvy. 150 hp, and 150 tq. Quick for a chick car.

is that sarcasm? I'm not sure what you're trying to say here but I think you took what I said the wrong way. I didn't call you a ricer, I just don't understand why people (people in general, not just YOU) talk in terms of "power at the crank" when there's always going to be drivetrain loss... and why do people focus on the peak HP number so much when it occurs at a RPM that you rarely hit on a day-to-day basis?
