My 2001ex is currently @ 195,000 with just oil changes, air filter and timing belt replacements. FYI... I am currently installing new radiator due to the old one developing a crack in the top plastic.

My brother had a 93 Civic CX (Canadian) hatch that had about 460,000 kms (285000 miles) on it when he got rid of it because the body was just too rusted to fix. It was still running pretty good and was way overdue for a timing belt change. My stepfather had a 1990 Accord EX-R that had a bit over 500,000 kms (310000 miles) and still ran like a champ until he hit a deer somewhere in Alberta and cracked the windshield and radiator but he still drove it all the way across the country to New Brunswick. I personally believe any car, domestic or foreign, will last many hundreds of thousands of kilometers if well maintained, but I will admit that certain foreign brands (Honda, Toyota, Nissan) seem to be more likely to make it to 300 or 400 thousand or more kilometers than other brands.

I own a 1997 civic sedan auto with 360000KM on the body. Had to replace the engine and original transmission since they needed it.
