I saw these dangling out from under my glove box today and cannot for the life of me figure out how they go back in. They are sort of attached to a small harness, but I didn't see an obvious spot to plug them back in.

Any help is great (and please be specific as to how they go back in--I don't know nearly enough about cars as I wish I did). And, does anyone know what they're for? I noticed what looks like the fan for the heater and air conditioner down there and my fan settings 1-3 haven't worked since I had the car worked on a few months ago (I know, I know...). It'd be great if this is the problem.

You do NOT plug them in anywhere. One plug is used for ignition timing set, another one I don't remember, but it's supposed to be free. Just push them under the dash.

is there a setting of 4? and if so , does that work ??

Yes there are two more settings - off and maximum. If you maximum speed works, the problem is likely to be your blower resistor.
