I think it your igniter then.. it a little square unit sit inside your dizzy with some male plug, cheapest way to find out is visit your local junk yard and dismantle a few of them from some civic, I think it’s all the same.

if u have power to the plug on the distributor pull the rotor make shure there is no condinshion in it ur best bet would be get a new cap and rotor
