I need a reference book!
I know the typical decision for reference books is the Haynes Manual, which I can buy localy, but i am wondering if there are some other more detailed and professional books out there that I might purchase for my 97 dx.
I have heard people talk about a few other companies that make some killer maint. manuals and etc.. I want stuff that will show me how to do alot of stuff by myself. I can do just about anything with directions!
I am going to pick up a haynes today, but will still purchase another 1 if you guys think there is one better then another.

RE: I need a reference book!
I have the factory service manual for my '02 TJ, and it is the *****! I can do just about anything to that jeep with no problems, simply by following that manual. I have it on CD, and on the computer. Just print out the pages I need for the task at hand, and doesn't matter how greasy I get it.
I found this... http://www.tradebit.com/filesharing.php/1/5 The PDF link is at the bottom of that page. Looks like for $7, you get the same PDF for the Civic.
Then again, you can also follow a link in this thread: https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_250222/tm.htm
