Idle Stop Screw... Please help.
I've got a '97 Civic. Someone adjusted my idle stop screw instead of my idle adjust screw. I'm trying to fix it, but the only info I can get is that it's supposed to set by the factory. Anyone know how to get it back to normal? Or where normal is for that matter?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Set it so the throttle plate just closes fully but does not slam against the throttle body. The throttle plate should be closed at idle. All the idle air bypasses the throttle plate through the idle screw and/or the IACV.
