Buy a new Honda distributor for the long run. Check price at Majestic Honda.

I was skeptical that the ECU would be the solution because the ECU only provides ground for the ICM to tell it when to signal the coil to fire.

Well I bought a distributor from a local junkyard today, installed it on my car, drove around for awhile, it ran good for awhile. I drove to my parents parked it for a couple hours, drove back home and no less than 10 minutes into the drive, it starts skipping again, feels the same as before, only this time my tach stays at a steady rpm while the engines skipping. Any other suggestions guys?

Tach staying steady means it's likely a different problem now. The ICM is probably firing OK but the spark doesn't make it to the plugs (hint: ebay wires). Or it could even be a fuel problem.

But no codes?

My wires are 8mm silicone Accels, they are very high quality and were not cheap, they are clean and in good condition. I cleaned the inside of the cap and rotor today, it was slightly dirty, reset my PCM, but nothing has helped yet, it still skips intermitentlly, sometimes the tach still drops when it happens as well. When the check engine light comes on again i'll pull codes again, but last time it was misfires cylinders 1, 2 ,3 ,4 and "multiple misfires"
