interior light and gauge problems

Exclamation interior light and gauge problems

alright i have a 1995 honda civic 4 door dx and tonight when i was driving my speedometer, oil pressure gauges wouldnt work. and so i tried my hazards and they dont work either, also tried the turn signals and they dont work..... when i put it in park the tranny locked up and i had to put my key in the tranny lock hole.... i drove home but my speedometer,oil pressure gauge, headliner light, hazards, and turn signals dont work...

.........PLEASE HELP

Check whether fuse 15 is blown.

yeah the backup light fuse was blown

If the fuse blows again, then you need to search for an electrical short in the circuit.

alright its been blowin so i guess i got to search the fuse box......what a pain in the ***

The diagram below shows the components protected by fuse 15. Disconnect each component one at a time in hopes of identifying a disconnected component that prevents the fuse from blowing. This will require some time and patience. Good luck.

These problems can be a real pain to find. Maybe it's something simple, like blowing ever time you shift to reverse because of a short in the lights. A lot of the stuff on the diagram does not apply if the car is manual instead of automatic.
