Default Keyless entry remote

my remote broke off the keychain and is pretty much useless cause it is now separate, I read in a post by Ronj about replacing the remote, the question is, i dont have the stock radio installed, is there a way to re-program one without needing the stock stereo?

The dealer has a little computer that does it without using the car at all. When i worked there i didnt have my stock radio in either and i just used that. Im not sure what they charge since i did mine for free. That is the only other way that i know of. But others might chime in and know another way.

Only 96-98 Civics require the stock radio for the keyless remote. Just replace the remote.
