Default leak check

Hi,
Could any one give some suggestions for leak check of AC. I did not get the cool air. So I filled the refrigerant. It worked well for a while, 24 hours, then no cold air again. I got it checked by Pepboys, but they told me it is no leak. I CAN NOT BELIEVE them any more. Last year, this happenned to me. I sent the car to them and was told no leak. So I get it recharged. But this year, the leak seems severer.

Any body has some information or some kind of tutorial for me to read. I would try to do it by myself.
The car is 95honda civic. I know it is quite old

Thanks a lot !

Default RE: leak check

try bringing it down to a local shop that does A/C and ask them to recharge it and check for leaks.i no that they put a special dye in the A/C lines to find leaks.they put the dye into the system and use (i think) an ultra violet light) and special glasses to see the leak.it would look similar to this http://www.refrigerant-recovery.net/...89_product.jpg
