Smile license plate light / trunk lights

05 civic lx has all tail lights working except the trunk only has brake light and back up. the other 4 do not work. checked for corroded ground on lip of trunk. fuses if under the hood etc. Is there a 2nd fuse panel? Or is there a common problem I don't know about? replaced all lamps of course already. thanks

Broken wires between the body of the car and the trunk lid. Wires may look OK on the outside but the copper inside breaks.

I'll check that as this trunk is used often.

OK, so if you look at the part of the harness that moves with the trunk opening there was indeed a splice crimp that broke off. It was just slightly up from the main branch of wires that go towards the rear and up and right about 2 feet from the large plug behind the seat. All fixed.
