lights on the ecu??????

Default lights on the ecu??????

ok so i replaced the distributor on my d15b7 non vtec civic, and now when i start driving it the cel comes on, i have checked everything under the hood over and over and everything is right, now i have herd that there are lights on the ecu that will flash codes if there are any and i have torn up the carpet got to the ecu and i dont see any lights??? any help will be greatly apreciated!! thanks you guys are awsome!!

In a 92 to 95 there are no lights on the ECU itself. You read the codes by installing the test jumper, turn key on but don't start, and watch the CEL blink.

the light on the ecu is for 88-91 civic obd0
guessing ur's is a 94 from ur screen name you need to do this

well that would explain, ok how do i test the cel with a jumper, i have never done this?

Read the link that 94 posted. Above the ECU, there is a large wire harness. The test plugs hang from this harness and don't connect to anything. You always want the one with two pins.

yeah use my link and stick a paper clip in it and count your cel blinks

ok so i found a black and brown two prong plug right above the ecu, its the only one around, so i unpluged it stuck a paperclip on the metal contacts and nothhing, no blinks the cel did not come on, but it still comes on after about four mins of driving, but it wont come back on untill you drive the car for about 4 mins, im lost

wrong plug, its grey, the grey plug is with that brown plug, its right there look harder
