Was looking at the engine bay today(00 civic ex)

And I believe I was looking at one of the engine mounts, it's on the left side, like a big circular mount. Well I was looking at the inside of it and it looked like a rubber bushing, but instead of filling the entire hole/gap it was like a half circle with a stub at the top.

Picture a half circle along the bottom then at the top of the bushing is a stub in the middle. It looks worn out and I'm thinking it's supposed to be solid all around. I'll take pics later, but here's a quick sketch of what the bushing looks like in the mount.

The dotted lines resemble the top part of the mount, the black is the bushing, the white is empty space

There are supposed to be gaps in it, it's molded that way. It's unlikely for that mount to tear out.... but if you want to take a picture and post it here I'll take a look at it.
