Default Low-20's mpg from a D16Z6

140k 93 EG Coupe, D16Z6 5-speed, recent oil/filter/spark plug/timing belt.

Granted, I deliver pizza, meaning I start the engine four to five times per hour, but I shift at 2,000 RPM and basically putter the car around town, usually in 5th gear. I was expecting at least 35.

Should I do the fuel filter and O2 sensor? O2 is expensive, $60.

Don't expect 35 mpg driving inner city orlots of stop and go. More around 27-30 at the most. When is the last time you've had a tuneup?

I drive it so lightly it doesn't see above 2500 RPM. I was expecting 30+ mpg because of that.

No A/C running, of course.
