RE: low end torqe
d-series is the sohc motors found in most american civics. B-series are the more powerful Dohc motors found in civics and integras.and yes Ohbiskits, you'll feel it, it makes it more responsive and it feels torquier. and when i did it to my d15, i went from about 22-23 mpg, to about 30-33 mpg city mileage on premium.

yeah, 18 is best. 16 is stock. there is one mark on the crank pulley by itself, thats tdc. then there is three marks next to each other, line up the mark on the timing belt cover with the one farthest away from the tdc mark. any more than 18* will move too much power away from the top-end. I advanced mine too much because i didnt have the timing belt cover on, and with that and an ex tranny, i went from 17.2@ 83mph to 16.6@78. if i could have set the timing right, i could have broke 16.5 or 16.4 and close to 85mph. oh well, ive got that beat now

Has anyone else tried this? I live in l.a. and am in high school, if your from around here gas prices aren't that cheap. So if this really does provide for a significant increase in low end torque, let me know.
Thanks, Josh
