Default low IDLE

Now i konw alot of people have idle problems but they never seem to help reading there replys...so here it goes...
When i turn the car on it idles fine and dandy. But when i start driving for a while (5 min or so) and i stop at a light or stop in general and just leave it in Drive, the rpm's seem to drop alot, like hover around 200-300rpms, this only happens when i let off the gas, or idle...any thing?

Is the CEL ON?

1) Clean the IACV and also the Fast Idle Valve, if you have one.

2) Adjust the idle screw on the throttle body.

my car today was idling at 1.5rpm this morning and throughout the day when I had the clutch in all the way, having this same problem, someone told me it could be the thermostat

i have the same problem. and i have already cleaned the iac valve. and i dont have a fast idle valve to clean. ive checked both of my sensors to see if that what the problem and they both work fine. so now im still confused on what it might be.

no, the CEL is not on, it's kind of a wierd deal, i just noticed today that if i'm cruising along at say 30mph, push in the clutch and coast, the car will idle normally around 8-900 rpm, but when i get to a complete and full stop, then it drops the idle to around 500 or so rpm's

this is confusing to me because technically the clutch disengages the engine from the wheels so no matter what the wheels are doing the engine should idle the same?

i will work on cleaning that valve, but i'm pretty sure the thermostat is okay because it heats up, blows hot air and cools down accordinly with the guage working fine

i'm kind of lost on this one, if anyone has figured this thing out, please post

thanks for the help
