This may seem like a simple question, but what problems may encompass the "Maint Req'd" light on the Civic (particularly '05 Civic LX Sedan)? I don't seem to hear any weird noises or notice any problems...Thanks in advance

 

"Maintenance Required" is merely based on a timer to remind you to change the oil, etc. After that has been done you reset it from the dashboard. Instructions should be in the owner's manual. "Service Engine" is the light that indicates a problem has been detected.
