Default MAP Sensor?

So I went to go read why my car was showing a check engine light and it said that my sensors were bad... both are brand new. So I spoke with a friend of mine that works with civics and he said that it might be the MAP sensor. Is there a way I can clean the map sensor? If not, what else do u guys think it might be?

What specific codes did it throw? If it threw both the MAP and TPS, you might have the plugs switched around. (They're the same plug type.)

There is a MAP sensor cleaner spray. You'd find it next to the carb and brake cleaner.

Iight thanks man, just finished cleaning the map along with the chamber where the oil gas and air hits. Hopefully it gets better after 50 miles or so lol
