Default master cylinder replacement

It turns out that my master cylinder has gone bad it's a recall issue, anyway I need to buy a new part should I buy a honda genuine part or some other brand. In other words am I paying extra for the Honda name when I could just as good as a product for less with another brand??
thanks,

StefanJ

If it's a recall, Honda should be taking care of the whole problem for you. Otherwise, pretty much anything you get from an auto parts store would be a re-manufactured Honda unit. For the record, I've never had a problem with any re-man master cylinders.
