Exclamation Milky stuff under oil cap, BUT dipstick is fine

my car did sit for 1 month before i bought it, the oil seems pretty old, and the weather has been cold for about 2 months, and i have drivin it for 2 days in the last month, could the constant hot / goin cold cause it to do that? should i change my oil then check? the car has been in my garage for the last month getting repaired, or do i have a headgasket problem, the only sign of that i have is the milky stuff under the cap, and it isnt very thick, thats the only symptom i have, HELP! and the valve cover was takin off and there was no white substance on it whatsoever the exhaust doesnt blow white smoke either aswell, the only place that it was whiteness is under the cap, thanks in advance for the help

Change your oil, probably just some condensation from sitting awhile.

Yes, probably just condensation. However, keep an eye on it after you clean that stuff off. Have you done an oil change since you got the car? Does the oil have a milky type look to it?

Condensation. I have that happen every winter because I have a short commute and it never fully warms up the engine.
