Default motor shift when you put it in drive

OK so most of you may remember my recent post about the rear motor mount. I crawled under there and it LOOKS like my rear motor mount isn't torn. BUT, how much should the motor "shift" when I put it in gear? I can see it move a little but can't tell how much is too much......... Should it be making any sudden movements or should it just kinda budge one way or the other?

It should move a little, but if you shift and you hear something hit then the motor mount is definitively broken.

Yeah if the mount is shot you will hear a rather loud bang when shifting into drive or reverse, and possibly upon starting the engine.

I don't hear any noises like described above, but I do hear a little clunk when it shifts into overdrive at a low speed.
