so i have a 97 civic with a 1.6 vtec blown bottom end now i do hav a 1.6 not v tec can i just swap heads or whats involved ????????????? anyone done this yet ?????????????

what are the numbers on the motors? i imagine that the blown one is a d16y8, but what is the non vtec one?

the block wud be a dt17y r sumthn like tht ..........lol

anothr guy is sayn the blocks are the same its just the top end that matters ???????????????????? im not a civc guy so im not sure this wud be the first nd its all deckd out so itd be nice to get it runin
