well i guess it depends on future plans. Are you going custom catback? Then get the inlet size to match the rest of your piping, if you're keeping it on stock piping 2" would be just fine

yea iam keeping stock piping. so keep outlet about the same as it is now, but does it matter how long the muffler is? should i just measure the stock one that came w/ the civic? and match tht length

length matters a bit.....but it can be corrected by just cutting off more of hte piping nad putting hte muffler in its place. I'd say like 18" would be fine, that might even be a bit big. Just make sures its small enough to be welded on beofre it gets to your LCAs, but the tip can still fit in the muffler cutout in the rear bumper

^^^18" body right(not the whole thing). most of the ones i have seen are 14" the sport ones.

i'm just guessing on the 18", btu if more are 14" i say go for htat. The longer it is the more it muffels sound, so you're gonna want the longest one that will fit.

if cops wanna be dicks, they can say something about "noise violation", and some cops go as far to say "any aftermarket parts are illegal", but w/e, they'd be arresting millions of millions of people if they cared that much. And as for emissions, mufflers have nothing to do with emissions, thats all with the catalytic converter, and thats far away from the muffler. Upgrading to a high-flow cat is where problesm start happening
