My honda did'nt want to start.
I just bought a 1992 civic dx with 152000 miles from the original owner. The car sat for four days while I was on vacation. When I got home it would'nt start. I tried some starting fluid and it would fire up for a few seconds and then stall every time i tried the starting fluid it would start for a few seconds and then stall. I let the car sit for about 10 minutes and it fired right up. It has started fine since.Do you think the fuel pressure dropped when it sat for four days? where is the check valve?
Well it can if you let it sit for a while. When I come back from vacation sometimes it takes a few seconds to build of pressure and finally get the engine going. Especially if the tank isn't ver full. It could also be that it's old + the fuel pressure was low from sitting.
