Default Need help 205/55/R16 is rubbing 1997 civic

Hi I need help please, I have just installed 205/55/R16 on my honda civic 1997 and its rubbing on small bumps, it has no problem with turns but only I believe the issue is with height as its only 2 fingers difference there.. the dealer said I am not sure why its happening since this size works fine with 97 civic... What should I do, I need help please.. should I lift the car an inch or more ??? I don't want to change them since I am loving the tries and the look of the car.. and I also got them at a very responsible price.. HELP HELP PLEASE

You should be running 205/45/16s. Your tires are a whopping 1.5 inches taller than they should be. I would see if you can somehow swap them for the right size tires.
