ok so i know its not a honda but i need some good advice im stomped my parents 99 suburban will ride fine but after 10 mins or so of driving it boggs down and almost dies and some times it will die and the gas needle is tripping out goes from full to empty in a matter of secs. i changed the igntion coil and module and fuel filter any ideas at all ?

Don't buy GM? Gas needle jumping up and down suggest major electrical failure, or maybe just a bad ground for the fuel tank, which will kill fuel pump.

you might also get a more useful response from the forum that handles suburbans as this might be a model wide issue. But I agree with mk that the needle moving around tells me that you have signficant issues electrically or with your fuel pump or fuel related electrical and mechanical systems.

Fuel sending unit. My buddies dirty burban did the same thing. PITA!

so after testing the fuel pump that was not the issue.... bad gas ????
