Need help with engine/transmission swap

Can someone tell me if I can use a motor from a 1997 Honda Civic CX in a 1994 Honda Civic DX. If so, do I need any special parts? I'm not looking to upgrade or modify anything, I just need to put a different motor in the 94 civic. Also, can I use a transmission from the 1997 CX in a 1998 EX? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
