Hi. i got a 95 civic cx and i am planning to do a jdm D15Bvtec swap to it... but the question is ... do i need to get the transmission too? because the price are different... the engine and transmission costs me about $1250..... and if i just need the engine... it's just about 750... will the engine fit my transmission?

 

i dont see why not both are d series motors

 

because it's a JDM engine so i don't know if my transmission will fit or not.

 

you tranny should fit...any d series tranny should work
