im in the process of removing my alternator on my 94 civic EX coupe...i've got everything disconnected and unbolted , only to find out, my damn CV axle is in the way of dropping this thing from the bottom of the car...and there's no way it's coming out of the top...help me get this thing the rest of the way out please...

 

please don't tell me i have to pull that stupid CV axle out just to drop the alternator out...there's got to be another way...
