First off for years my speedo been acting weird on and off. It finally gave out and i thought the sensor gave out didnt want to buy until not i go and buy 1 cost 80 dollars and it didnt fix the problem so i have no clue unless its the cluster itself. Also i go tuurn on my dash lights they not working i was messing with fuses so i probably put the fuse in the wrong place well i dont have a fuse diagram. any1 have one for a 93 civic cx non power windows and doors.

is your check engine light on? maybee its your cluster or wiring that connects to the cluster.. pull out your cluster and diagnose the wires with a voltmeter..tap the speedo wire in the back..you should have the maintenance book to find your wire to the speedo as of course i dnt know..

 

i had another civic laying around pulled the cluster out of it and speedo still not working so mabe its a wriring problem. Is there any fuses for it?

 

Check for the plug on the sensor having loose or corroded contacts.

 

well i think i figured out the problem. My parts civic guage cluster had written on it bad speedo. So im thinking my original cluster is bad also i heard these go out all the time. I guess i need to search on ebay for one.

 

so i did figure out the problem it is the speedo guage itself. I took it out of the cluster and hit the sides of it with my knuckles put it all back together and it started to work. So i guess i need to replace it before it goes out again. I also got the dash lights to work. It was the led's on the old cluster but the new cluster's lights works.
