need some help

1992 honda civic dx my ebrake light is on but my tires spin freely. can someone tell me whats going on?

Check the fluid level in the brake master cylinder. I've sometimes seen the "brake" light come on as a low fluid level indicator. Not sure if that's how it works on the EG Civics, but might be worth a shot.
