Need suggestions for a head on a B16A2 block
I just bought a 99 Si and I found out that I got ripped off after losing to a Single Cam. LOL!! I opened my hood and everything looks normal until I removed my header cover and read the stamp on the head. It said 90 PR3-3; in addition, I have a LS intake manifold too. What a rip. It had to be some kind of integra B series head. I got hella mad. For this was the reason I lost to the single camI think. I'm thinking about getting another B16A2 head or if anyone knows anything about cool head swaps on a B16A2 Block. Just let me know. Thanks a million!!

RE: Need suggestions for a head on a B16A2 block
my bad, not the GSR head, I meant the Integra Type R (ITR) head B18C5.
But yeah it goes like this:
1. Integra Type R (ITR) B18C5 is basically a B16 head with a mild port & polish, upgraded valvetrain, and better cams
2. Civic Type R (CTR) B16B has a mild port & polish, and better cams
3. B16A or B18C1, they both have their advantages and disadvantages to one another. It is argued which one is better.
The B18C5 and B16B heads are more expensive and harder to find. If you don't want to spend that much it's best to go with a B16A head.
