New Car, new problems
Quick Question,
I just noticed my on my new Honda. The door locks work when the car engine is running but once I turn off the engine, the Driver Side door won't lock? Any ideas why? I just don't feel like paying some guy to fix it when I can...

What year is your car? is it under warranty? if it is take it to Honda.
So it locks when the car is running but not when its off? can you manually lock it whether the door is open or closed?

Its an '03 and I got the extended warranty from the Used Car Dealer. I gotta wait 30 days before I get the Card for the Warranty tho, so yeah.
It can lock when the car is on yes, but when the car is turned off the lock goes down so far but it seems more like something is sticking it.

Mine does something like that. I have to pull the inside door handle and press the power lock button, then it will work. I have no idea why this is so, I read how to do it somewhere, and it works. I wouldn't mind fixing it unless this is some kind of "don't lock yourself out" mechanism.

well if you cant even lock it from the out side then you kinda got a problem, i would take it when you get your warrenty card thing, or just take of the door panel and see if you can see any obvious problems
