New here, question about ignition wires>>

Hello,

I am working on my mother-in-laws' christmas present (a remote start). It is a 2003 Honda Civic EX, my question is how many ignition wires does this car have? The installation manual says one, but I had trouble getting it to work and the technical support people said to look for another ignition wire. Any suggestions are appreciated.

i believe their talking about plug wires ----there are 4---i installed a remote set up once & i think theres 1 wire that wraps around a plug wire to pick up a tach signal
