sorry guys for the newbie questions but I tried searching and did find anything. I wanted to know will my 91 hatch (non Si) tranny fit the 88-91 ZC motor. If it doesn't what other tranny will fit besides the ZC tranny?

 

your tranny will work with it. but an si tranny would be better.

 

any 88-91 d series trans will work but you must use the right flywheel, clutch, and starter that goes with the trans. a 90-91 dx/si trans will need the dx/si clutch and flywheel etc.
