Default No acceleration & smoke!

hi I have a 2017 civic touring (with turbo!) with ~40k miles on it & I just bought it used. in the past few weeks (twice) I have turned a corner after breaking and when I go to accelerate my car almost stalls? and doesnt let me accelerate and proceeds to start smoking. the smoke is grey/ black & I believe it’s coming from the exhaust pipes, but my dad thinks it may be coming from the brakes in the back. when this happens I put it in park, shut off the car,& wait a few mins. I got it checked after the first time it happened and I was told nothing was wrong & they have no idea why it’s doing that. the second time it happened I drove it home like normal & everything was fine. has anyone heard of anything like this? any info would be helpful!!
